Jeep Commercial, Editing and Moulin Rouge

Jeep Commercial:

Rhythm:
It was really fast and in time with the song, fast and upbeat.

Editing:
It had a linear feel because it opened with a sunrise and ended with a sun down. In the middle the shots flicked to times all through out the day. When you have a jeep, you will always have a good time.

Graphic Matches:
Flash backs to the party scene and when the people are driving but it flicks to different people at different times of the day.

Editing:

An innocent character is stalked by a werewolf: slow edits: creates suspense so you can’t see what is happening entirely.

A character confesses their horrific crime to someone: close ups and slow edits: to see all the emotions and understand whats happening.

Two teams compete in the finals of a street dance competition: fast cut shot: its gives the feeling of adrenaline and shows the audience everything thats happening.

A high speed car chase ends in tragedy: fast then ends in slow motion: to show the tragedy so everyone can see the damage and emphasis the accident.
