Blinds Inspiration

I like these shots because of how the blinds have been used. We used the same thing. We used the paper cut out to get the effect and put a light behind it to be able to see it. 

New Blinds

We made new blinds because the last ones were a bit to wide and were not as effective as these ones. We used them to add a Film Noir effect to our shots.

This is our new shot list that we used to help us get things finished. It also has things on there that say when we have to include voice overs:

Finished Filming Major Shots

In today's lesson we finally finished filming all of the major shots. We still have a couple establishing shots that we have to do but we are going to do those after school. Next lesson we are going to hopefully start recording our voice overs and start to pull everything together. Our new shot list really helped us because sit was pretty much a step by step plan of what we had to do to get the filming finished.

Reflection

We used one lunch time film with Cayley as she changed classes. We got heaps done and used heaps of the shots in our rough edit. We re-did the shot list to narrow down what needed to do because we changed bits of our idea. We have all worked together to make the final edit and so far it looks really good. Bella is the only one that really knows how to use iMovie so she put it together and we helped cut the shots and make it look good. A struggle we faced was the fact that Cayley had changed classes, which made us use a lunch time. Also, twice went to film in the boardroom, there were other people from around the school in there having a meeting or something like that. The first time this happened, we just asked to use the top of the boardroom and they said that it was ok as long as we were quiet so that was all good. The second time, was when an old teacher was being shown around the school but she was ok with us being in there. She kept asking us questions about what we were doing. Our rough edit looks really good. At the moment we are just adding in some extra shots and cutting other ones out, while adding effects. We still need to film one shot with Cayley so we are planning to do that in a lunch time next week. That can be done quickly so it doesn't really affect us. We also need to lear how to make a sound track so we can do some voice overs and stuff to finish our final film.
